This meeting (12/12/99 at West End Hotel Edinburgh) was to discuss a possible motion to be presented at the Assoc AGM in March 2000. That all National Council and Music Board meetings be open for attendance by members of the assoc. Seating would be in the order of two reps per branch according to the amount of seating available. This was agreed in principal and would be discussed again at the branch meeting on 23/1/00. A lap top computer would cost £1050 and the branch is to ask the Assoc for the £1000 loan returned to pay for the computer. Sponsershiop for the structured learning was talked about and it was suggested that advertising space could be given on the summary sheets for branch contests. A web site for the branch was discussed and it was decided that this would be a great asset to the branch. However the need for people to control the input was something that would have to be looked at. An information afternoon at the West End Hotel Edinburgh to be held on 2/1/00 to discuss elementaryand intermediate courses. NEXT MEETING 23/1/00 1800 WEST END HOTEL. 27/2/00 MEETING TO BE HELD IN PEEBLES EX SERVISES CLUB 1700. |
